Make the Daylight knot | Tutorial

In this photo tutorial, you will see how to knot the Daylight pattern. The Daylight knot was designed by Silke Engels and is of an intermediate level.

If you follow the photo tutorial and make this knot with paracord 550 type III, the knot will be around 4.2 cm wide and 1.5 cm thick. In the MatchMaker you can see how many meters of paracord you need, and you can also choose the colours for your project.

Start paracord Daylight knot

In this tutorial, the Kosmetik 2.0 technique is used as the setup. Need help making this? Then check out the tutorial on the Kosmetik setup here.

Colour 1: Hazelnut Brown Paracord 550 Type III, colour 2: Latte - Color FX , colour 3: Velvet Pink, colour 4: Pearl Rosé and colour 5:  Sparkly Rose

After making the setup and adding the colours, it is helpful to check that the length of the setup is still correct. Make sure the left and right strands of each colour ware the same length.

Knotting the Daylight knot

Tighten the knot. Repeat steps 21 to 23 and continue until your work is the desired length.

This knot was designed by Silke Engels. We would like to thank her for her permission to use this knot.
